Application
 

Cetrimonium bromide is used as an oral antiseptic in toothpaste.

Cetrimonium bromide is used as a bactericide, softener, emulsifier and antistatic agent in cosmetics.

When cetrimonium bromide is used in shampoos and conditioners, it can be adsorbed on the surface of the hair to form a monomolecular film, which makes the hair fluffy, soft and gives the hair a natural luster. 

Since the skin, hair and bacteria are all negatively charged, they can be firmly adsorbed to the cationic active groups to achieve moisturizing, conditioning, antiseptic and antistatic effects.
