Dihydromyricetin is a white acicular crystal (ethanol), soluble in hot water, hot ethanol and acetone, soluble in ethanol, methanol, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, insoluble in chloroform, petroleum ether. The Microherb study showed that dihydromyricetin had good thermal stability, but with the increase of temperature above 100ºC, dihydromyricetin would undergo irreversible oxidation reaction. Dihydromyricetin is stable under neutral and slightly acidic conditions.
