NADP sodium salt is an extremely important nucleotide coenzyme. NADP sodium salt is a phosphorylated derivative of the 2' -site of the adenine-linked ribonucleotide system of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) and is involved in a variety of anabolic reactions, such as the synthesis of lipids, fatty acids and nucleotides. In these reactions, the reducing form of NADP+, NADPH, is required as a reducing agent and hydrogen negative donor.
