Perfluorodecalin colloidal super-emulsion composed of perfluorodecalin and other perfluorocompounds has good oxygen carrying capacity as artificial blood. The oxygen solubility of perfluorodecalin is 20 times that of water and 2 times higher than that of blood under certain concentration and oxygen partial pressure.
